At ELS we take great pride in the quality of care that we give to you and your horse. We live our lives dedicated to our animals and our customers so that you and your horse have everything you need to succeed in all your equine activities. We try to keep our prices affordable so that you may not only enjoy your horse but also be able to afford to do other things with your animal, like lessons and showing. Boarding:
Stall Board: $550.00 per month per horse
Which includes:
- Feeding 2 x per day
- Quality hay and water
- stalls are cleaned once per day, everyday
- turn out, in the warmer months our horses are outside at night and in all day, in the winter they are out during the day and in all night. We feel that turnout is an important part to keeping your horse healthy and happy.
- supplements will be fed at owner's expense (We love Smart Pak)
- we are on a health program with our vet so that all horses will be wormed and have their shots (at owner's expense)
- we do not charge extra for holding your horse for the vet or farrier
- blanketing will be done according to the weather at no extra charge
- You have full use of the facility, which includes outdoor and indoor ring, tack room, washrack with hot and cold water, access to trails
- we have no closed days, we know that everyone works hard and wants to see and be with their horse, therefore we feel that you should have access anytime that you can make it to the barn, we do ask that if your coming before 7am or after 10pm that you let us know in advance.
- we have an onsite farrier so no lost riding time for missing shoes
Field Board: $300.00 per horse
Which includes:
- Big fields with safe shelters and fencing
- Round bales
Lessons:
At ELS we feel that lessons are an important part to establishing your goals with you and your horse. You are not required to take lessons with us to board with us. We offer many different options for you depending on what your goals are.
Lessons, one per week: $45.00 per lesson, per horse
Monthly lesson package: $450.00 this includes a lesson 4 days per week
Monthly training rides: $450.00 per month this includes riding 4-5 times per week
Showing:
At ELS we love to horse show!!!! We feel that it is a great way to show how much you've learned, give yourself a goal to work towards and if the day goes right, give yourself a reward for all your hard work. We go to local VHSA hunters shows, MDHSA shows and we also go to A shows.
Training fees for the horse show are $45.00 coaching fee per day, per horse.
Shipping is $1.25 per mile.
Farrier Services:
At ELS we are unbeleivably fortunate to have our trainer also be our farrier. Owen has studied and shod for many years to help our horses move balanced and comfortable. We love that there is no missed riding time for lost shoes and so do our horses. Since Owen spends all of his time in and out of the ring watching how our horses move he is able to keep them at their top performance. He loves a good challenge and is unbeleivable at corrective shoeing. He will occassionally take on outside clients or you may bring your horse to our farm to be shod.
